The Smithsonian Arctic Studies Center is an integral part of the Anchorage Museum in Alaska. With a building designed by award-winning architect Sir David Chipperfield and the exhibition design by Ralph Appelbaum Associates, this incredible development opened in 2011.
The Arctic Studies Center’s exhibitions comprise of more than 600 Native Alaskan objects and artefacts that are part of the Smithsonian Institution’s extensive collection.
